Cindy Y. Rodriguez is a Peruvian-American writer, producer and storyteller who has worked in media for over 15 years for companies like NBC, HuffPost, CNN, Latina magazine, and now PBS. In 2015, she co-founded the award-nominated feminist podcast Morado Lens on all things sex, culture, and embracing spirituality. She loves creating impactful and diverse content for English-dominant Latinos, especially on subjects like identity, culture and race.

When she’s not hiking with Reclama, she’s taking way too many photos of everything or walking her dog. She’s traveled to Australia, Peru, El Salvador, Spain, driven cross-country, backpacked Europe and can honestly say that there’s no place like her hometown West New York. She’s passionate about giving back to her community and is glad her storytelling skills will help elevate her hood in a genuine and powerful way. Cindy cannot wait to show you the untold stories out of NoHu.
